IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL STUDENTS!
The
end of fall semester is coming to a close, and all returning
students must re-register for spring semester. Registration
packets were sent to all students during the Winter Break.
If you have not received your registration materials, please
stop by to see your guidance specialist to pick up those
forms. Guidance specialists are currently re-enrolling students
who wish to return to Coast for 2nd semester. If you plan
to return to your home school or any other school in the
District, you must notify the guidance specialists so they

Coast
High School Independent Study
Goes to the High Schools
CHS Independent Study has established satellites at three
District schools: Huntington Beach HS, Fountain Valley HS,
and Westminster HS. Students needing to accommodate impacted
schedules or to remediate classes in order to be able to graduate
on time, have the option of retaking a class with a Coast
teacher as an independent study student. Students do course
work at home, meet with their teacher to review their work,
and take a test or other form of benchmark assessment. Last
year, satellite students earned a total of 520 credits through
the Coast High School Satellite Independent Study Program.
