Office Hours

8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m

Students who need to sign up for another class must bring a Brown Slip from their teacher to the Guidance Specialists by 11:30 a.m.

Coast I.D. Cards

You must have a current I.D. card. If you lose your card, you will be required to pay a $5.00 replacement fee. Please keep your I.D. card with you at all times. Ocean View High School is a closed campus. You must be prepared to show your Coast I.D. to Ocean View Security officers if asked.

Work Permits

Work Permit applications may be obtained from Mrs. Segura during school hours. Applications must be filled out by your employer and your parents and returned to our office. The Work Permit will be issued about 2 or 3 days later.

ROP Courses

If you are interested in ROP classes, check with a guidance specialist to see the list of courses available.

Parking

Parking is very limited; and Parking Permits are required. You may pick up a Parking Permit in the office. Be sure to have your license and your car's plate # with you when you apply.

New Student Orientations

Students wishing to enroll in Coast High School must be referred by their comprehensive home school's Assistant Principal. Orientations are held the first Friday of each month. Orientation begins at 1 p.m.. Please be prompt. Late comers will need to reschedule for a later date.

Obtaining Records

Talk to a guidance specialist to obtain copies of transcripts and to discuss graduation requirements.

Other Reminders:

Remember that Ocean View High School is not an open campus for our students to "hang out" with friends. You are welcome to wait for rides in our patio area, but if you take a bus to school, you should leave campus promptly after your appointment with your teacher.
